Michelle and Robin Burton
MAYWOOD -- Michelle Anne McGeorge of Craig and Robin Matthew Burton of Maywood were married July 29, 2005 at the Cornerstone Berean Church in Kearney with the Rev. Scott Ross and Rev. Doug Shada officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Deann McGeorge of Craig and Robert and Janice Burton of Maywood.

Grandparents of the bride are Dean and Kay Johns and Russell Johns, great-grandfather of the bride, all of Bennington.

Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Delma Snyder of McCook

Maid of honor was RaeAnn Burton, sister of the bridegroom of Omaha. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Johnson and Joni Cerney, both of Kearney, Rebecca Kruse of Lincoln and Kerissa Steinshauer, of Arlington, Va.

Best man was Shawn Phillips of Omaha. Bridegroomsmen were Randy Thomas and Joshua Taylor, both of Omaha and John Snyder and Craig Hanthorne, both of Kearney

Ring bearer was Cameron Ourada, cousin of the bride, of Omaha. Ushers were Tim McGeorge, brother of the bridegroom, of Kearney; Matt McGeorge, brother of the groom, of Oakland, Heather Clancy, of Kearney and Jenny Gross, of Houston, Texas.

Pianist was Betsey Lindstrom of Omaha. Vocals were provided by Christa Huebner of Kearney and trio Rebecca and Rachel Kruse of Lincoln, and Catie Kruse of Oakland

Guestbook attendants were Brandy Carter, cousin of the bride, of St. Louis, Mo., and Angie Runquist of Kearney

A reception was at the Holiday Inn in Kearney with host couples Jeff and Beth Johns of Fremont, Jesse and Larry Shupe of Omaha, and Cathy Snyder of Maywood.

The bride graduated from UNK in 2005, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and served as the Student Body President/


She is employed by Nebraska City Public Schools as a teacher and high school volleyball and basketball coach.

The bridegroom graduated from UNK in 2004, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. He is employed by Nebraska City Public Schools as a teacher and high school football coach and middle school basketball coach. He will also be serving as one of the Senior Legion Baseball Coaches.

The couple will make their home in Nebraska City.
