OBERLIN -- Cleo Fox, 68, died Sunday (March 26, 2006).
He was born Oct. 27, 2006, to Raymond and Clarice (McAfoos) Fox in Goodland, Kan. He lived in Rexford, Kan., until the age of 11, when his family moved to Scandia, Kan. He attended school in Rexford and Scandia.
After school, he made his home in Oberlin. On Aug. 17, 1974, he married Linda Weiss in McCook. He worked as an oil field driller, mechanic and floor hand.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo; a brother Clifford Fox; and a step-brother, Carrolee Corbin.
Survivors include his wife Linda Fox of Oberlin; one son, Billy Dean Fox of Burnet, Texas; a daughter Catherine and husband, Bob McClimans of Burnet, Texas; a step-brother Wayne Corbin; a sister, Barbara and husband, John Knappers of Oberlin; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin with the Rev. Bill Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the Rexford Cemetery.
Visitation is 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, and 8 a.m., until the time of the service, Thursday.
