BIRD CITY -- Thelma Eleanor (Tippie) Hendricks, 93, died Tuesday (Feb. 28, 2006) at Citizens Medical Center in Colby, Kan.

She was born June 14, 1912, in Bird City.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sigfred Hendricks in January 1974.

Survivors include son, John and wife, Sharon Hendricks of Bird City; daughter, Jeanelle and husband, John Alden of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday, 3 p.m., at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Interment will be in the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, 1-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials are being accepted in her name.
