ARLINGTON -- Laurie Hilgenkamp of Arlington and Andrew Hock of McCook were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Arlington with the Rev. Rick Kanoy officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Nancy Hilgenkamp of Arlington and George and Kathy Hock of McCook.

The bride wore a white, strapless gown accented with pearls and crystal beads. It featured a satin lace-up back, an empire waist and an allover lace skirt with scalloped edges. She wore a cathedral-length veil with a fingertip-length blusher. She carried a bouquet of orange spider mums, roses, hypericum and wheat stems.

The maid of honor was Emily Hilgenkamp of Lincoln, sister of the bride. Amy Hartman of Fremont, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Boyd of Lincoln, Amber Glenn of Topeka, Kan., Marieta Wind of Jefferson, Iowa, and Elizabeth Hock of McCook, sister of the bridegroom. They wore bittersweet orange chiffon dresses with halter necklines and a-line skirts. The bride's personal attendant was Anne Pribnow.

Ed Hock of McCook, brother of the bridegroom, and Steve Barger of Nampa, Idaho, served as best men. Bridegroomsmen were brothers of the bridegroom, Matthew Hock of Culbertson and Adam Hock of Lawrence, Kan., Marc Rasmussen of Cambridge and Jacob Barger of Omaha.

Ushers were Jeff Hartman, John Pribnow, Andy Fiala and Josh Tomes. Michael and Aaron Doll were the candlelighters. Jacob Johnson of Adams, cousin of the bridegroom, was the ringbearer.

Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Audrey Pribnow, cousin of the bride, vocalists Robin Johnson and Paul Ternes and violinists Annthie and Kaylee Kramer.

Special guests were grandparents Darlene Doll of Nickerson and Floyd and Leona Hilgenkamp of Arlington.

A reception was at the Arlington City Auditorium. Guestbook attendant was Jacob Pribnow. Host couples were Gary and Michele Doll, Steve and Peg Pribnow, Bill and Trisha Moore and Blain and Lori Johnson. Cake cutters were Heather Doll, Lindsey Hilgenkamp, April Hock and Lori Sutton. Punch servers were Lacey Butler, Kimberly Claypool and Christy Schmidt.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Arlington High School. She has a bachelor's degree in human resources and family science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She is a registered dietitian for Lifetime Fitness in San Antonio, Texas.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of McCook High School. He has a bachelor's degree in agricultural business from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He is an irrigation technician for Peerless Irrigation in San Antonio.

The couple honeymooned in Lake Tahoe and will make their home in San Antonio.
