ST. FRANCIS -- Charlotte "Lottie" Sophie Hempeler, 95, formerly of Bird City, died Wednesday (Feb. 1, 2006) at the Good Samaritan Village in St. Francis.

She was born Sept. 27, 1910, in Cook.

Services Monday, 11 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church in Bird City. Interment will be in the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials are being accepted in her name at the Bird City Senior Center or the church.

Knodel Funeral Home of St. Francis is in charge of arrangements.
