Amanda and Bradley Osborn

BENKELMAN -- Amanda Fries and Bradley Osborn, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at the United Methodist Church in Benkelman with the Rev. Brian Fong officiating.

Parents of the couple are Rich and Val Fries and Jim and Lynne Osborn, all of Benkelman. Grandparents of the couple are Gene and Linda Jones, Guy and Melba Fries and Glen and Vivian Osborn, all of Benkelman, the late Paula Jones and the late Floyd and Gloria Sutherland.

Sadie Hartman of Sioux City, Iowa, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Bemis of Omaha, Megan Wobig of Lincoln, Tamara Meyers of Omaha, Shelley Hageman of Yutan and Erica Sunde of Omaha..

Justin Stiers of Omaha was the best man. Bridegroomsmen were Jerod Sorgenfrei of Lincoln, Shane Bradney of Benkelman, Greg Strasburg of Lincoln, Spencer Pahlke of San Francisco, Calif., and Josh Gregg of York.

Flowergirl was Macey Bryan, cousin of the bridegroom, of Lincoln and the ringbearer was Noah Kerchal, cousin of the bride, of Benkelman. Ushers were Bradley Fries, brother of the bride, of Hastings, Gabe Fries, cousin of the bride, of Omaha, and Nick Baney and Nathan Behlke, both of Lincoln.

The bride's personal attendants were Audrey Bartholomew of Omaha and Amy Breault of Hebron. Candlelighters were Josh Peck and Allison Peck, cousins of the bridegroom, of Mundelein, Ill.

Carrie Behlke of Lincoln provided music for the ceremony. Soloists were Erica Rose of Omaha and Tony Ham of Benkelman, cousin of the bride. Program attendants were Andrea Jones of Fort Collins, Colo., and Sandi Wiese of Omaha. Guestbook attendants were Amber Webb of Bartley and Lisa Trost of Omaha. Carlie Nevill of Alliance, Casey Hardy of Loomis and Colton Kerchal of Benkelman, all cousins of the bride, handed out bubbles.

A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the American Legion Hall in Benkelman. Host couples were Josh and Alicia Fries, cousins of the bride, Dave and Betty Bradney, Shawn and Julie Jones and Brian and Trina Stute, all of Benkelman. Cake servers were aunts of the bride, Deb Wright of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Janet Applegarth of Palisade, and aunt of the bridegroom, Connie Sutherland of Elm Creek.

The couple is making their home in Lincoln where the bride is a teacher at Goodrich Middle School and the bridegroom is a customer support analyst at Information Technology Incorporated.
