BENKELMAN -- Trisha Marie Minard and Richard David Willis, both of McCook, were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Community Building in Benkelman with the Rev. Robert Sander officiating.

Parents of the couple are Teresa and Rocky Sander of Benkelman, Rusty and Penny Minard of lndianola, and Rocky and Shevawn Willis of Culbertson.

The bride wore a gown decorated with over the shoulder straps holding the heavily beaded bodice which closed in back in a lace-up style. A wrap look waist was caught in front with a sparkling adornment. The slightly full skirt fell open in front to reveal an underpanel adorned with appliques, frosted with rhinestones, crystals and sequins. The beading continued around the hemline and semi-cathedral train of the lustersatin gown. The gown had a separate matching shawl.

Kayla Minard of Indianola, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Ashlee Minard of lndianola, sister of the bride, served as a bridesmaid.

Jermey Lytle of Kearney served as the best man. Billy Abey of Benkelman served as a bridegroomsman.

Sydney Reichert of Benkelman, cousin of the bride, was the flowergirl. Austin and Drew Minard of Indianola, brothers of the bride, served as the ringbearers. Ushers were Steven Sander of Benkelman, brother of the bride, and Chris Reichert of Colby, Kan., cousin of the bride. Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist Tony Ham of Benkelman.

A reception and dance took place at the Benkelman Fire Hall following the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and is making their home in McCook.
