KEARNEY -- Thelma M. Panzer, 89, died Sunday (Jan. 1, 2006) at Northridge Retirement Home in Kearney.

She was born Sept. 21, 1916, in North Platte to Carl and Mary (Wills) Thompson. She graduated from North Platte High School in 1935.

She married Howard Panzer on Sept. 20, 1936, in North Platte. They made their home in McCook and Kearney.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Judy Baltzell and husband, Bob of Kearney and Janet Reiners and husband, Larry of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; sister, Frances Goodwin of Englewood, Colo.; half-sisters, Loewayne Brown of North Platte and Nancy Ridder of Callaway; two sisters-in-law; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at the North Platte City Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Walker officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., at the Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary in Kearney.
