Aggies even record at 5-5

CURTIS -- The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture men's basketball team evened its record at 5-5 just in time for the Holiday Break.

On Tuesday night the team downed the Western Nebraska UNK Club Team 110-87. The Aggies led the UNK Club Team at halftime 54-42.

Mike Lampman and B.J. Luke took the scoring honors for the evening with 32 and 31 points.

Matt Klima added 16 and Andrew McKenzie put in 10 to help the cause. Klima also had 14 rebounds. The Aggies hit 45 percent from the field and 88 percent from the line.

"The team has an optimistic look for the second semester," said NCTA coach Del Van Der Werff.

The Aggies will be idle until Jan. 11 when they make a two-day road trip to LaGrange, Colo., and Scottsbluff.

At LaGrange, the Aggies will play Frontier College and at Scottsbluff they will play Summit College.
