Francis "Mel" and Vera (Ackermann) Eaton of Arvada, Colo., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 19. The couple married on Nov. 20, 1955, in McCook. They have four children, Debra and Tom Twiselman of McKittrick, Calif., Robin and Margaret Eaton of Arvada, John and Twyla Eaton of Centennial, Colo., and Kevin and Rickee Eaton of Arvada and nine grandchildren.
