GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -- Goldie Faye Dorson, 90, died Friday (Dec. 2, 2005) in Orange Park, Fla.
She was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Jennings, Kan., to Otto Hanson and Bozena Votapka. She graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1934.
She married Harold Lively in 1939. He preceded her in death. She later married Curtis Dorson.
She operated a day care center. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and the Over 40 Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Bozena Hanson; her first husband, Harold Lively; and a son, Danny Lively in 1956.
Survivors include son, Larry Lively of Jennings, daughter, Fern "Dee" Borsheim and husband, Rex of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; brother, Ivis Hanson of Jennings; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Monday, 2 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Heidi Wiebe officiating. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1-8 p.m., and Monday, 8 a.m., at the funeral home.
Memorials are being accepted in her name.
