Gonzaga coach announces signing of Brandon Crick

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga University men's golf coach Robert Gray has announced the signing of Brandon Crick to a national letter of intent to join the Bulldogs squad for next season.

Crick plays at McCook High in Nebraska where he is a three sport standout in golf, tennis and basketball.

Crick had a stroke average of 74 during his junior year medaling in six meets with two second place finishes.

He recorded quarterfinal and runnerup finishes in Nebraska Junior Match Play competition and placed third at the Nebraska Junior Amateur.

He has also been selected for the Nebraska Junior Golf Association's North-South Cup in three consecutive years and was the 9th ranked junior in Nebraska as rated by the Nebraska Junior Golf Association.

Crick has been named a two-time all-state selection with second and third-place finishes at the Nebraska Class B state tournament.

On the tennis court he placed third in No. 2 singles at the 2004 state tournament and fourth in No. 1 singles in 2005.
