Ada Martha Williams, 88, died Friday (Nov. 25, 2005) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
She was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Gandy to George Albert and Amelia Jane (Clark) Jewel. She attended rural school near Maywood and high school in Hayes Center.
She married Richard "Stanley" Williams in El Monte, Calif., on May 15, 1938. The couple moved to McCook in the late 1970s.
She was preceded in death by her husband in September 2002; her parents; a brother, Wiley Jewel; and cousin and special caregiver, William "Bill" Clark.
Survivors include a son, Richard William Jr. of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mildred Jewel of Columbus; and special caregiver, Glora Clark.
Graveside inurnment will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
There will be no visitation, as her body was cremated. Her book can be signed at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook and condolences can be left at www.carpenterbreland.com.
Memorials are being accepted in her name.
