Gonzalez, Peterson wedding

Mary Margaret Gonzalez and Gerald Lynn Peterson were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Susan Gonzalez Cafferty of McCook, John C. Gonzalez of Stockton, Calif., the late Lonnie Cafferty and the late Alfred F. and Ethyl E. Peterson.

The bride was escorted by her son, Michael Judd.

Virginia Donnoe of Indianola, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. John F. Peterson of Elwood, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man.

Flower girls were Erica Lavery of McCook, granddaughter of the bridegroom, and Haily Jo Judd of Kearney, granddaughter of the bride. Ringbearer was Justin Erik Judd of Kearney, grandson of the bride.

Brothers of the bride, Ben and John J. Gonzalez, served as ushers. Music was provided by organist Christopher Lyons of McCook and soloist Ryann Proud of Bartley.

A reception followed at the church. Reception assistants were Gina Donnoe of Indianola, Rosette Sladek of St. Paul, Ryann Proud of Bartley and Heather Judd of Kearney.

The bride attended school in McCook and is employed with Wal-Mart. The bridegroom attended school in Trenton and is employed with the City of McCook.

The couple honeymooned in Grand Island and Kearney and will make their home in McCook.
