SELDEN -- Beryl "Teddy" Lorraine Wachendorfer, 94, died Wednesday (Oct. 19, 2005) at the Sheridan County Long Term Care Unit.
She was born Dec. 1, 1910, to Charles W. Motz and Martha Bain, northwest of Selden. She attended Shaul Country School.
She married Frank Wachendorfer on Sept. 20, 1927. The couple made their home west of Selden, where she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1977; a son, Dennis in 1999; four sisters; two brothers; a granddaughter; and a grandson.
Survivors include daughters, Frances Linnell and husband, Seth of Goddard, Kan., and Mary Ellen Krannawitter and husband, Oliver of Hoxie; six grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. George Kochuvelikkakam officiating. Interment will be in the Selden Cemetery.
Visitation will be today, until 8 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials are being accepted in her name at the Selden Cemetery or the Sheridan County Long Term Care Unit.
