Peterson, Goodenberger wedding

MILACA, Minn. -- McKinsey Lee Peterson of Milaca, Minn., and Wade Tanner Goodenberger of McCook were united in marriage Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Milaca. The Rev. Dan Adams of Northome, Minn., officiated at the evening ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Warren and Lin Peterson of Milaca and Gene and Deborah Goodenberger of McCook.

Honored guests were the grandparents of the couple, Neil and Geraldine Johnson of Willmar, Minn., Mary Peterson of Milaca, Marvin and Sharon Rall of Kearney and John and Phyllis Goodenberger of McCook. The late Abdon Peterson was also grandfather of the bride.

Katelyn Peterson of Milaca served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Esselman of Milaca, Natalie Riedmann of Omaha, Kari Micheel of Bennington and Carli Goodenberger of McCook, sister of the bridegroom.

The bride's personal attendants were Tara Peterson of Milaca and Danielle Clapper of Omaha.

Anthony Peterson of Milaca served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Travis Peterson of Milaca, Andy Widman and Richie Brown of Kearney and Mike Stuntz of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Lauren Cappellan, cousin of the bride, and Hannah Goodenberger, sister of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Candlelighters were Claire and Lee DeCleene of Green Bay, Wis.

Kyle Sayler of Kearney, cousin of the bridegroom, and Matt Ryan of Milaca were ushers.

Providing music at the ceremony were Darwin Bruesewitz, soloist; Anne Carlson, pianist/organist; Paul Blondell and Christine Seaborn, violinists; and Travis Peterson, trumpeter.

Warren and Lin Peterson hosted an hors d'oeuvres reception following the ceremony with live music. Assisting with the reception were Abdon and Susan Peterson of Milaca, aunt and uncle of the bride; Brooke Sayler of Kearney, cousin of the bridegroom; Julia Kujawa of Park Rapids, Minn., cousin of the bride; Sue Rail of Overland Park, Kan., and Deb Goodenberger of Grand Island, aunts of the bridegroom.

The bride and bridegroom are both graduates of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The bride is a volunteer at Chrysalis Center for Women in Minneapolis, Minn., and the bridegroom is employed at BKV Group Inc. Architects in Minneapolis. They are both planning to attend graduate school at the University of Minnesota.

Following a honeymoon on the North Shore, the couple is making their home in Minneapolis.
