So. Valley spikers take 4-of-5 games from Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE -- The Southern Valley High School volleyball team claimed 4-of-5 games from Cambridge Monday night at Cambridge.

Southern Valley won the match 21-25, 26-24, 25-23, 28-25, 18-16.

Cambridge's Christin Bruckman was 25-of-32 in attacks with 11 kills and had 7 digs, 1 set assist, 1 service ace and served 6 points.

Shelby Schultz was 30-of-42 in attacks with 11 kills and had 9 digs, 3 ace blocks and 8 service points. Kymbre Lytle was 13-of-19 in attacks with 4 kills and had 6 digs and 7 service points.

Alysia Mowry was 12-of-15 in attacks with 6 kills and had 12 digs, 3 service aces and 11 service points. Traci Keyser was 28-of-29 in attacks with 10 kills and had 4 digs, 2 service aces, 1 ace block and 4 service points.

Bailey Soucie was 4-of-5 in attacks with 4 kills and had 2 digs and 37 set assists. Katie McCurdy had 3 service aces and 8 service points. Kayla Sexton had 1 dig, 1 set assist, 3 service aces and 12 service points. Tracy Hayes was 1-of-2 in attacks with 1 kill.

Araphaoe falls to Alma

ARAPAHOE -- The Alma volleyball team handed Arapahoe a 25-20, 25-20, 25-11 loss Monday at Arapahoe.

Hollie Thomas had 18 set assists for the host Warriors.

Abbey Breining had 8 kills in 18 attempts and added 1 solo block, 1 block assist, 11 good serves and 47 digs. Alesa Paulsen had 13 attacks with 5 kills.
