Tongish, Houser wedding

Ashley and Brittan Houser

NEWTON, Kan. -- Ashley Tongish and Brittan Houser were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Newton with the Rev. Floyd McKinney officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dave and Pat Tongish of Newton, Jim Houser of Newton and Deborah Davis of Broken Arrow, Okla.

Grandparents of the couple are Gene and Marcella Leitner of Oberlin, Denis Tongish of Herndon, the late Wilma Tongish, the late Harry and Carmen Houser and Kathleen Wheeler of Broken Arrow.

Lesley Tongish, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shea Stubby, Yetunde Olukanni and Seyi Oyo. Junior bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Desiree Wilson, Morgan Tongish and Lauren Tongish.

Devan Delugo, cousin of the bride, was the flowergirl. Ringbearer was Andrew Evans, nephew of the bridegroom.

Best man was Coby Houser, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were, brothers of the bridegroom, Billy Evans and Tipton Evans, Joel Hamlin and Matt Royston.

A dinner and dance followed at the Tallgrass Country Club in Wichita, Kan. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and is making their home in Wichita, where they are students at Wichita State University.
