Kris and Dora Schaffert announce the birth of a son, Aden Dale, on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Omaha. He weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Bud and Norma Lashley of Curtis and Paul and Pat Schaffert of Indianola. Great-grandparents are Dorothy Hansen of McCook, Edna Schaffert of Atwood and Elmer Bjorklund of Greeley.
