WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. -- Suzan Smith, born Aug. 2, 1955, in McCook to Wayne and Gladys Ball, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at her home in Wheat Ridge, Colo.

Preceding her in death was her father, Wayne Ball.

Surviving her are her mother, Gladys Weskamp; brothers, John Ball, Tom Ball and Jeff Weskamp; one sister, Laurie Wagner; brother-in-law, Bruce Wagner; one nephew, Ryan Ball; one niece, Prairie Rose Wagner; and her husband, Jim Smith of Wheat Ridge.

Suzan attended school in McCook, lived for a number of years in North Platte; she then moved to Colorado, where she met and married Jim Smith.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.
