AXTELL -- Kenneth Cameron Cappel, 48, passed away Friday (Sept. 9, 2005) at the Mosaic at Bethphage Village in Axtell.

Kenny was born on July 25, 1957, at McCook to Gaylord Paul and Ruth Carol (Guthrie) Cappel. He had been living at Bethphage since 1980.

Kenny enjoyed all the activities at Bethphage. Some of his favorites were bowling, swimming, and going on outings.

Preceding him in death were his father, Gaylord; one brother, Gary; one sister, Dorothy; and grandparents, George and Pauline Cappel and Leland and Charlotta "Lottie" Guthrie.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth of Benkelman; one brother, Robert of Everett, Wash.; one sister, Jeanette and husband, Tony Wonderly of Benkelman; two nephews, Kaleb and Brady Wonderly of Benkelman; other relatives; and a host of friends and staff of Mosaic at Bethphage Village.

Memorials may be given in his name.

Visitation is today, until 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Friends may go online at www.carpenterbreland.com to extend condolences.

Funeral services will be at the McCook Evangelical Free Church on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Bruce Lester and Pastor John Gosswein will be officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
