HARVARD -- Wauneta May Stump, 83, died Monday (Sept. 5, 2005) at a nursing home in Harvard.
She was born Jan. 10, 1922, to Howard and Verda (Alstott) West in Beaver City. She attended Beaver City schools.
She married Floyd Stump on Aug. 31, 1946, in Norton, Kan. The couple lived in several towns in Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd on Dec. 30, 1991; her parents; and one brother, Bob.
Survivors include a son, Steve Stump and wife, Pam of of Grand Island; daughter, Sandra and husband, John Frink of Hastings; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City with the Rev. Phil Olsen officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Creek Cemetery in rural Beaver City.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from noon until 8 p.m., and prior to services on Thursday at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.
