PUYALLUP, Wash. -- Wanda Pearl Jackson, 93, died Monday (Aug. 15, 2005) at the Linden Grove Health Care Center in Puyallup, Wash.
She was born Feb. 23, 1912, to Robert L. and Nettie M. (Massey) Lemon in Portis, Kan. She grew up near Lenora, Kan. She received her bachelor's of education from the University of Washington.
She married the Rev. Glenn H. Jackson on Aug. 11, 1935. They served several churches in Kansas, Nebraska and Washington. She was a school teacher.
She was a member of the Chapel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn on June 23, 1997; one son, Glenn H. Jackson Jr.; three brothers; and three sisters.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., at the Cornell Cemetery in Trenton with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating.
Memorials are being accepted in her name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in Trenton.
