POULSBO, Wash. -- Marie Violet Foster, 80, died Thursday (Aug. 11, 2005) at Martha & Mary Health Care Service in Poulsbo, Wash.
She was born July 15, 1925, to Joseph and Grace (Spiers) Kolsky in Jennings, Kan. She attended school in Jennings, Kan.
She married Flavius Foster on Sept. 2, 1946, in Dresden, Kan. The couple made their home in Dresden until moving to Poulsbo, Wash., in 1950. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Grace Kolsky.
Survivors include her husband, Flavius Foster of Poulsbo; three sons, Thomas Foster, Maurice Foster and wife, Diane, and Douglas Foster and wife, Diane all of Poulsbo; one daughter, Linda Killinger of Moses Lake, Wash.; three brothers, Dallas Kolsky and wife, Joyce of Sedalia, Mo., Gerald Kolsky and wife, Lucille of Oberlin and Ira Kolsky and wife, Mary, also of Oberlin; two sisters, Goldie Stapp and husband, Don of Oberlin and Bettie Janning and husband, Ivan of Storm Lake, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Tuesday, 11:30 a.m., at the Dresden Cemetery in Dresden. Visitation will be Monday, 10-11 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin.
Memorials are being accepted in her name at the donor's choice.
