The children of Darrell and Lucille Banzhaf of McCook are hosting an open house celebration of the couple's 50th anniversary Sunday, 3-5 p.m., at the Chief Motel Poolside. The couple married Aug. 20, 1955, in Hugo, Okla. Children of the couple are Russell and Doris Banzhaf of McCook, Kathy and Calvin Martin of Red Cloud, Gloria and Brad Masoner of McCook, the late Linda Banzhaf and her husband, Dave Thompson of Denver, Colo. They have five grandchildren and two-step-grandchildren. Cards of congratulations will reach the couple at 500 South Street, McCook, NE 69001.
