BIRD CITY -- Minnie Louise Theresa (Oestmann) Busse, 86, died Monday (Aug. 8, 2005) in St. Francis.

She was born Aug. 1, 1919, in Auburn.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Clarence Henry August Busse of Bird City; two sons, Dan Busse of Bird City and Dave Busse of Omaha; a daughter, Pat Cooksey of Houston, Texas; a brother, Louis Oestmann of Cottonwood, Ariz.; a sister, Ella Bergmann of Auburn; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church in Bird City. Interment will be at the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, until 9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials are being accepted in her name at St. John Lutheran Church in Bird City or the charity of the donor's choice.

Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis is in charge of arrangements.
