NORTH PLATTE -- The Mid-Plains Community College 2005 Fall Course Schedule is currently being mailed out to all households, box holders and rural mailboxes in the 18-county MPCC area and boarding communities in Kansas.

The schedules are also available at the North Platte Community College's North and South Campuses and McCook Community College, as well as the MPCC extended campuses at Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine. The schedule can also be viewed on the MPCC website at www.mpcc.edu.

"The catalog is larger than it's ever been before," said Chuck Salestrom, MPCC Director of Public Information and Marketing. "We've included expanded offerings at our extended campus locations, as well as in our distance learning community classrooms."

Fall term classes begin Aug. 22. Students may register through the first week of the class that is being offered. It is strongly recommended that students wishing to register make an advising appointment by calling (308) 535-3709 in North Platte or (308) 345-8110 in McCook.

MPCC also offers numerous scholarships, grants and loans available to all qualified students and financial situations.

If you do not receive a MPCC 2005 Fall Course Schedule and would like one, please contact the Public Information Office at (308) 535-3781.Denise Poss
