Wacker, Lackaff engagement

Angela Wacker of McCook and Derek Lackaff of Bassett announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be has a master's degree in gender, sexuality and diversity from LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. The prospective bridegroom has a master's degree in media studies and will be pursuing a doctorate in Buffalo, N.Y., this fall. The ceremony is planned for Aug. 6, 2005, at Keller Park in Long Pine.
