LINCOLN -- Meredith "Ike" Cole was born May 7, 1942, to Myrtle and Roy Cole. He departed from life June 11, 2005, in Lincoln.

He married Maria Dillon in Trenton.

He is survived by his mother; his wife; his daughter, Shelley Katz; and grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers, DeLynn of Florida, DeLayne and Rondall of Lincoln and Dennis of Florida.
