Larry Lee Lepper, 65, of Henderson, Nev., died Friday, (July 8, 2005) at his home. The memorial service will be Sunday, July 10, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sutton, Neb., with Pastor Judy Terry officiating. Cremation has taken place in Nevada.
He was born Nov. 16, 1939, to William H. and Neva (Otis) Lepper at Trenton, Neb. He was veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from active duty in the Air Force in 1978 after twenty years and sixteen days of service. He married Mary Smith on April 26, 1971.
He enjoyed hunting and Fishing and was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Henderson; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Larry Nelson of Sutton; Teresa and Pat Burns of Fort Worth, Texas; Juanita and John Wattes of Henderson; one son, Wayne Smith of Henderson ; brothers Rusty Lepper of Danbury, Bob Lepper of McCook and Mike Lepper of Lexington; sisters, Annette and husband, Bart Snyder of Oberlin, Kan.; Sandra Diederich of Oberlin and Laurie Dybdahl of McCook; 17 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Wade Lepper, one brother and four sisters.
