OMAHA -- Carrie Elyn Warrick of Fort Calhoun and Tyler David McCarty of McCook were united in marriage Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at the Legacy Hall in Omaha. The Rev. Jon Simpson of Atlanta, Ga., officiated at the evening ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Cherry Warrick of Fort Calhoun and Dave and Angela McCarty of McCook.

Honored guests were Johnny and Anna Siebert of Lincoln, the bride's grandparents; and Earl and Letha Svoboda and Larry and Nadena McCarty of McCook, the bridegroom's grandparents. Tyler is also the grandson of the late Marilyn McCarty.

Sara Baker of Omaha served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Cristy Enns of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Bell of Fort Calhoun; sisters of the bride; and Jenni McCarty of McCook, sister of the bridegroom. Abigail Enns, niece of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.

The bride's personal attendants were Tessa Schuring and Amber Lindsay, both of Omaha.

Jared Strock of Omaha served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Nick Hinz and Brady Skinner, both of Lincoln; and Nick Petrick of Omaha.

Crystal Enns, niece of the bride, and Chantel Sawyer of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Luke Enns and Levi Bell, nephews of the bride, were the ring bearers.

Candle lighters were Laura McCarty and Chelsea Svoboda, both of the McCook and cousins of the bridegroom.

Seth Warrick and Lance Warrick, both of Fort Calhoun and brothers of the bride, and Andrew McCarty of Omaha and Jordan Svoboda, both of McCook and cousins of the bridegroom, ushered the guests.

Carrie wore a white strapless organza gown with beaded embroidery. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies, stargazers and tulips.

The bridal attendants wore red satin gowns with spaghetti straps and thin black overlays, and carried loose bouquets of calla lilies, stargazers and tulips.

The bridegroom, bridegroomsmen, ring bearers and fathers of the couple wore black tuxedoes. The bridegroom and bridegroomsmen wore red vests; the others wore black.

Providing music at the ceremony were Mary Ann Enns, pianist; Sarah Amack, violinist; and a vocal group whose members are Jared Strock, Sarah Amack, Brie Headlee and Tawnya Smith. The bridegroom also played the piano and sang a special song to his bride.

Mike and Tiffany Smith hosted a dessert and hors d'oeuvres reception following the ceremony.

Gift carriers were Shelby Sawyer, Zac Curl and Nic Curl of McCook, cousins of the bridegroom.

Assisting with the reception were Andrea Sawyer, Anissa Curl, Brenda Svoboda, Leeann McCarty and Liz McCarty, all of McCook; and Kim Miller of North Platte, all aunts of the bridegroom.

Carrie and Tyler are both seniors at Grace University in Omaha. The bride is employed at Old Chicago in Omaha and the bridegroom is employed at Christ Community Church as director of the Axxess service.

Following a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple is at home in Omaha.
