Jacob Barger and Katie Mclvor, both of Lincoln, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Ron and Dianne Mclvor of Omaha and William and RanDee Barger of Culbertson. Grandparents are Margaret Mclvor of Omaha, Ralph and Betty Naslund of Beatrice, and Helen McNew of McCook. Jacob and Katie are May graduates of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The bride-to-be will attend UNMC-Omaha medical school this fall. The prospective bridegroom will be working in Omaha. The couple is planning a June 17 wedding in Omaha.
