Horgan, Reiner engagement

Amy Marie Horgan and James Daniel Riener

Tim and Linda Horgan, Wheaton, Kan., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Marie, to James Daniel Riener, son of Karol Riener of Herndon, and the late Pat Riener. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Onaga High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Human Services plus a minor in business, and a master's degree in life span human development. She is employed with Sunflower CASA Project Inc. as a program coordinator for Riley, Pottawatomie and Clay counties. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Herndon High School and Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in physics and a minor in mathematics. He also graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is employed with the Kansas Department of Transportation at Phillipsburg as an engineer. The couple is planning an Aug. 27, 2005 ceremony at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Manhattan.
