Oberlin qualifies two golfers for state tourney

ATWOOD -- The Oberlin boys golf team has two players on their way to the Kansas Class 2-1A state tournament in Emporia.

Jonathon Richards and Breck Simonsson placed third and sixth in the top 10.

Richards, a junior, is a three-time state meet qualifier and this is Simonsson's first trip. The Red Devils placed third in the team standings.

Atwood's Andy Fikan placed fourth as an individual and will also be traveling to Emporia. The Atwood team placed fifth overall.
