Cole, Wamsley engagement
Vanessa Cole and Jake Wamsley, both of Killeen, Texas, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Jim and Sandi Cole of Hayes Center and Rex and Cindy Wamsley of Hickman. Grandparents of the couple are Gerald and Gladys Cole of Curtis, Leona Martens of Moorefield, the late Reiny Martens, Carol Wamsley of Lexington, the late Clarence "Brownie" Wamsley and Jack and Geri Little of Kearney. The bride-to-be earned her bachelor of arts degree in international studies at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She is pursuing her teaching certificate in secondary English at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. The prospective bridegroom earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a captain in the U.S. Army and he's stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. The couple is planning a May 21, 2005, ceremony at the home of the bridegrooms parents in Hickman.
