CURTIS -- The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture golf team hit the greens with accuracy as they started their spring season.

NCTA began the season by hosting the first ever Aggie Invitational at the Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course in Curtis.

The NCTA finished second out of five teams with Zak Harrington of Ogallala placing second overall in the individual scores.

Matt Klima of Wauneta placed fourth and Tate Higgins of Nebraska City placed seventh.

"It was a good day for golf and everyone played pretty well for their first tournament," said NCTA men's golf coach Brad Jakubowski.

The NCTA Golf Team will continue to compete through May.
