OBERLIN -- Neva Campbell, 91, died Sunday (April 3, 2005) Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born Jan. 28, 1914, to Irvan and Bernice (Parker) Brown in Danbury. She was raised in Danbury, Hudson, Colo., and in the Lyle Community of Decatur County. She graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1931.
On June 4, 1933, she married P.W. "Bus" Page in Norton.
On Aug. 4, 1983, she married Roy Campbell in Carson City, Nev. She was a hairdresser.
She was a member of the United Church of Oberlin, Alpha Kappa Club and the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, P.W. "Bus" and Roy; and two brothers, Dean and Leslie T. Brown.
Survivors include two step-sons, Dennis and Betty Campbell of Tucson, Ariz., and Jack and Gretta Campbell of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; daughter, Mary Ann and and Gary Erickson of Oberlin; sister, June Saum of Oberlin; and sister-in-law, Anne Brown of Indianola; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
Services are Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin. Interment will be in Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Wednesday, 8 a.m., until service time.
Memorials may be given to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center.
