BIRD CITY, Kan. -- Ethel Mae Dunn, 97, died Thursday (March 31, 2005) at Swedish Hospital in Englewood, Colo.

She was born Oct. 23, 1907, in Smith County, Kan.

She was a teacher and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dunn in 1957; son, Rex Dunn in 2002; and daughters, Ruby Dunn in 1936 and Doris Headrick in 2000.

Survivors include six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Interment will be in Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be given to the Ethel Dunn Memorial Fund.
