BIRD CITY, Kan. -- Vivian Averl Curry, 89, died Thursday (March 31, 2005) at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kan.

She was born July 4, 1914, in Bird City.

She was a teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Lyle Curry in 1987.

Survivors include sons, Dal Curry of Casper, Wyo., and Don Curry of Clarkston, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services are Monday, 10 p.m., at Federated Church in McDonald with interment at Grace Cemetery in McDonald.

Visitation is Sunday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Federated Church AWANAS.
