OBERLIN -- Clarice Leake died Tuesday (March 22, 2005) in Oberlin.

She was born Sept. 17, 1906, to Peter N. and Birdie (Davis) Fough in Cambridge. She was raised in Parkersburg, W.V. The family moved to Red Willow County when she was in her teens.

She married Richard G. Leake on Nov. 1, 1930, in Oberlin. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the United Church of Oberlin, Alpha Kappa Club and was an Oberlin Library Board Member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard in 1989; two brothers, Ralph Fough and Glen Goreley.

Survivors include on daughter, Ann Anderson and husband, Jay of Oberlin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, 11 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin with the Rev. Mike McVay officiating. Interment will be in Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Thursday, 8-10 a.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Oberlin Library or Decatur County Good Samaritan Center.
