ST. FRANCIS -- Dorothy B. Burrus, 99, died Wednesday (March 9, 2005) at Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis.

She was born Nov. 23, 1905, in Danbury. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Burrus in 1971; and daughter, L. Elaine Davis in January of 2004.

Survivors include her son, Van Burrus of St. Francis; sister, Florence Moyer of St. Francis; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services are Friday, 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in St. Francis. Interment will be in Danbury/Marion Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Visitation is today, 1-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be give to the United Methodist Church, senior center or the Good Samaritan Village, all of St. Francis.
