Helm, Perks engagement

Helena Rosa Helm and Brian Perks announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are James and Yanis Helm of Danbury, Terry Perks of Bartley and Sandra Schwab of McCook. Grandparents are Helen Helm of Norcatur, Efreen B. Rojas of David, Panama, the late John Helm, the late Rosa Santiago de Rojas, Marlin and Letha Perks of Stockville and Sid and Judy Allen of McCook. The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Twin Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of Chadron State College with a bachelor degree in elementary education. She is a teacher at Fieldside School near Gordon. The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Twin Valley High School. He plans to graduate in May 2005 from Chadron State College with a bachelor degree in environmental studies. The couple is planning a March 5, 2005, ceremony at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola.
