Lois Marie Schneider, 72, died Saturday (Feb. 5, 2005) in Fort Collins, Colo.

She was born April 26, 1932, in McCook, the daughter of Earnest and Mary E. (Young) Cox.

Lois married Harold H. Schneider on July 6, 1952, in Fort Collins, Colo. They later divorced.

Lois worked for 13 years with Larimer County Social Services as a Home Health Aide Companion and at Poudre Valley Hospital for nine years as a cook.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mamie Knosp and Mavis Monard; and daughter, Little Lois Schneider.

She is survived by one son, John Schneider and wife, Lonna, Loveland, Colo.; two daughters, Carmen Erhardt and fiancé Vachel Galloway, Susan Geisler and husband, David all of Fort Collins, Colo.; two sisters, Cleora "Jay" Cox and Doris Mohr; one brother, Stanley Cox, all of McCook; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, 11:30 a.m., at the Timberline Church, Fort Collins, Colo.

Visitation is Sunday, 2-6 p.m., at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins.

Interment will follow the service at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
