Loyce I. Teply passed away Feb. 5, 2005.
She was born Loyce I. Hoback on April 7, 1911, to James Hoback and Alice L. Towne in Hayes Center. Loyce was the eldest of six children. When she was a young girl the family moved to a farm west of Hayes Center. She attended country school until she was 10 years old then the family moved to the east edge of Wauneta. Her mother passed away when she was 16. Loyce quit high school in Hayes Center to help take care of the three brothers and sisters.
On Aug. 5, 1935, she married Bill Neverve. Loyce was a billing clerk for Southwest Public Power in Palisade for many years prior to retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Melvin Dean and Neil Arden; two grandsons, Dale Lee Malone and Michael Dean Malone; two sisters, Gertrude and Lila; and two brothers, Harvey and Harold.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann White and son-in-law, Jack White, of Kennewick, Wash.; two grandsons, Robin Neverve and James Malone; and two granddaughters, Marci Jo Tobias and Tammy Rae Malone-Schwartz; and five great-grandchildren.
