Katie and Randy Partch

BIRD CITY -- Katie Suzanne Krutsinger and Randy Dale Partch, both of McCook, were united in marriage Sept. 4, 2004, in a country garden ceremony at the home of Ted Partch in Bird City. The Rev. Doug Mason officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Bobby and Joan Krutsinger and Ted and Carol Partch.

Grandparents of the couple are Leon and Josephine Schrader of Benkelman, the late Louis and Doris Krutsinger, Rodney and Bette Partch of Bird City and Bob and June Sharp of Oklahoma City, Okla.

The bride wore an ivory, matte satin gown accented with a champagne colored ribbon border at the top and bottom hem. The strapless, A-line gown featured a corset-style, lace up back and sweep train. Her headpiece was an antique rhinestone headband from the 1920's and a cathedral-length veil, accented with scattered pearls and penciled edging. She wore elbow-length gloves and carried a round bouquet of fresh, soft pink roses and calla lilies.

Molly Horner, sister of the bride, and Jill Partch, sister of the bridegroom, served as the matron and maid of honor. They wore chocolate brown, strapless dresses and carried bouquets of fresh roses and calla lilies in various shades of pink with kermit mum accents.

Mariah Phipps was the bride's personal attendant.

Kevin Partch, brother of the bridegroom, and Luke Linin were the best men.

The ring bearer was Corbin Horner, who was drawn down the aisle in a wagon by Kameron Krutsinger. The flower girl was Adalene Krutsinger.

Ushers were Tyler, Toby and Jesse Schneider and Trevor Horner.

The reception was at the ceremony site under white canopies.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Central Community College in Hastings with an associated degree in culinary arts and restaurant management. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kan., with an associates degree in electrical technology.
