STANBERRY, Mo. -- Deva K. (Bentley) Vaught, 53, of Stanberry, Mo., died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2005) at Stanberry Health Care Center.
She was born Nov. 5, 19551, to Ellis E. and Ruby L. (Wharton) Bentley in Gentry County, Mo.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ellis Eugene Bentley.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Michael Vaught; mother, Ruby Lavonne Bentley; three sons, Brian Vaught and wife, Leisa of Lincoln, Brad Vaught and wife, Susan of Protection, Kan., and Jeff Vaught of Garden City, Kan.; two sisters, Carolyn King of Overland Park, Kan., and Kelly Auffert and husband, Greg of Maryville, Mo.; three brothers, Kenny Bentley and wife, Linda, Kevin Bentley and wife, Terri and Lyndon Bentley and wife, Mardetta, all of Stanberry, Mo.; four grandchildren; and many Southwest Nebraska relatives.
Services are Monday, 10:30 a.m., at the Alanthus Church of Christ in Alanthus Grove, Mo.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society and Pine View Manor.
Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel of St. Joseph, Mo., is in charge of the arrangements.
