HASTINGS -- The McCook Community College men's basketball team improved to 9-6 with a 54-46 victory Friday night against the Hastings College junior varsity at Hastings.

Brandon Butler, a 6-foot-6 sophomore post player from New Orleans, led the Indians with 20 points and 18 rebounds.

Josh Oliver added 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Andre Goldberg dished off 6 assists.

The MCC men play Wednesday at Scottsbluff against Western Nebraska,

The MCC women's team played at McPherson, Kan., Saturday against McPherson College JV.
