Pauline A. Coghill, 92, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 2004) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
She was born Sept. 7, 1912, to Clark A. and Clara (Beckman) Beaty in Ossian, Ind. She attended schools in Nebraska, Indiana, Kansas and Colorado and taught elementary school for four years in Kansas. She was postmaster in Cedar Bluffs, Kan., for two years.
On Jan. 26, 1935, she married Wilson Kesler Coghill in Colby, Kan. To this union one son was born.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband on Jan. 4, 2001; three sisters, Ruth Featherston, Gertrude Ellis, Bernice Smith; and infant daughter Barbara.
Survivors include a son, James Coghill and wife, Erlene of Ogallala; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorials are being accepted in her name
Funeral services are Monday, 1:30 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial will be in the Danbury-Marion Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 5 p.m., Thursday until 5 p.m., Friday until noon, and Monday until noon.
