HOLDREGE -- Amy Johnson and Kyler Haines, both of Highlands Ranch, Colo., were united in marriage Aug. 14, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege with the Rev. Melva Tranmer officiating.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Rhonda Johnson of Holdrege and Dan and Linda Haines of Culbertson.

Grandparents of the couple are Gaylord and Barbara Johnson of Alma, Dorothy Lewis of Amherst, Mildred Housley of McCook, Hubert Haines of Benkelman and Patricia Berglund of Lakewood, Colo.

The maid of honor was Leslie Johnson of Lincoln, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Andrea Stradal of Kansas City, Mo., Lauren Petersen of Wichita, Kan., Jody Trautman of Gering and Karla Kautz of Castle Rock, Colo.

The best men were Michael Masur of Lincoln and Justin Kautz of Castle Rock. The bridegroomsmen were Lynn Searcey of Kearney, Louis Cuellar of Kearney and Taylor Quigley of Indianola, cousin of the bridegroom.

The flower girl was Jordan Stradal of Lincoln. The ring bearer was Taylen Stevens of Lincoln, cousin of the bridegroom.

Candlelighters were Lauren and McKenna Howard of Boulder, Colo., cousins of the bride.

Ushers for the ceremony were Aaron Smith of Omaha, Aaron Wehrly of Omaha, Rick Johnson of Lincoln and Scott Bauer of Kearney.

The organist was Holly Johnson of Holdrege, the pianist was Dorothy Lewis of Amherst, grandmother of the bride, and the soloist was Jessica Christo of Kearney.

The reception was at Cheex in Holdrege. The host couples were Franklin and Carmen Stradal of Holdrege and Steve and Cindy Quigley of Indianola, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom. The guestbook attendants were Heidi Rehm of Lincoln and Bree Frazier of Indianola, cousin of the bridegroom.

Reception assistants were Rhonda Pointer of Sargent, aunt of the bride, Julie Howard of Boulder, Colo., aunt of the bride, Melody and Connie Ferneau, both of Culbertson, and Debbon McConnell of McCook.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Holdrege High School. She is a 2002 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a 2003 graduate of UNK with a masters degree in business administration. She is a senior accountant with First Data Corporation. The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Culbertson High School and a 2002 graduate of UNK. He is a bankruptcy and recovery administrator for Bellco Credit Union.

The couple lives in Highlands Ranch.
