Melody Nelms and Jeremy Heskett

Melody Nelms of Indianola and Jeremy Heskett of McCook announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Merrit and Susan Nelms of Indianola and David and Judy Heskett of Culbertson. Grandparents of the couple are Lorraine Morosic of McCook and Max and Dona Nelms of Bartley. The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Republican Valley High School. She received a bachelor of animal science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is currently pursuing her degree in veterinary medicine at Kansas State University. The prospective bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Beaver Valley High School and is enrolled at MATC in Manhattan, Kan. The couple is planning a Jan. 1, 2005, ceremony at the White Church in Hayes County.
